U13 Sharks Florida Presidents Cup Champions

Bay United's 99G (U13 girls)  win 2013 Florida Presidents Cup.  Donations Appreciated!

U13 Girls beat Pinecrest from Miami on Saturday in a PK shootout.  Girls were forced to go into overtime with a score of 0/0 when they were unable to capitalize on any of their eighteen (18) corner kicks.  Pinecrest seemed to have an invisible force field on the goal.  PK shooters Savannah Gibbs,  Skyler Norrell, Peyton Peffers, and Ashlyn Lee all succeeded in putting the ball in the back of the net.  Goalie, Jenny Grant made a stop against Pinecrest's sixth shooter.  With a stop and miss against Pinecrest, Kamryn Sheffield stepped up to make the winning pk goal.  It was a very exciting finish.

They then beat Ponte Vedra Royal from Jacksonville 2/0 for the state title on Sunday.  Goals: Peyton Peffers and Jordan Bradley.  Assist: Gracie Mullins.  3 saves: Jennie Grant

They will represent the state of Florida at the Southeast Region III Presidents Cup Tournament in Decatur, AL June 6-9.  This tournament determines the Region III representative in the the National Presidents Cup Tournament to be held July 10-14 in Auburndale, FL.
