It’s that time of year again! We’re very happy to be brining back our winter training program for the players. We are going to be starting our trainings on Sunday, 7 January and have some exciting new offerings available.
We are going to be holding our first two training sessions on 7 January and 14 January (Sundays). These will be the two weeks before our evaluations (there were be no training evaluation weekends) which will give them some tune up sessions before we evaluate. We will then have four Sunday training sessions in February (4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th).
Training sessions will be held from 1PM to 2PM for any players Little League age 4-10. Our older players (Little League age 11 and up) will go from 3-4PM. The hour in between, from 2-3PM, will be for a new offering this year which is a session to focus on pitching fundamentals and catching. This session will be limited to Little Leage ages 7 and up. For the first two weekends, before evaluations, we’ll focus on pitching fundamentals. For the sessions in February we will work in catching as well for anyone interested.
Each of the sessions will be $5 per player to help defray cost of the facility. If you sign up for the full six sessions as one block you’ll get a discounted rate of $25 for six sessions. You can sign up for the regular training sessions only, the pitcher catcher sessions only, or a combo option of both regular and pitcher/catcher. There will be an option to sign up and pay for individual sessions upcoming…we will put that out once those links are set up.
VERY IMPORTANT! These training sessions depend highly on the use of volunteers to help. If you plan on coaching, assistant coaching, or just want to step in and help out we can definitely use you! You do not need to have prior baseball experience or knowledge.
